We have reached the end of the year which has been a very challenging one for us all. However, it has been great to see the children benefitting and enjoying the valuable and interesting experiences they have been given this year.
A huge thank you to the staff for the care and education they have provided – they certainly deserve a relaxing break over the holidays.
I’m sure you’ve enjoyed the class Christmas videos this year. The children and staff have worked very hard in preparing them and they would appreciate your feedback on Seesaw and Google Classroom.
Best wishes to Miss Emily Watson, teaching assistant in Years 3-6, in her new role and we thank her for her work at Melin Gruffydd. Good luck to her in the future.
Unfortunately, the situation regarding Covid is still worrying and there is a difficult and uncertain future facing us all over Christmas and the new year. I would like to assure you that the school will take correct and appropriate actions, based on the official information it receives. We will communicate with you immediately if any changes or restrictions are introduced in January.
* Please email email@example.com on Monday, January 3rd if your child is positive or has to self-isolate because a family member is positive. This information will be important to us as we plan the reopening of the school for the children on January 6th.
Many thanks to you MG parents for your support throughout this challenging year. I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
