A joint school council meeting!

A very successful meeting between three school councils – Pencae, Y Berllan Deg and Melin Gruffydd! Plenty of ideas for the year ahead!

Thanksgiving collection.

Dear Parents and Friends,

Homelessness has been a prominent feature in the news of late, and has inspired many of our pupils to ask members of the School council to focus on supporting less fortunate people within our community.

As a result, and as part of our Thanksgiving assembly, we will be donating a variety of toiletries to help the Huggard centre in Cardiff, with their work in supporting homeless people in our city.

Following a conversation with the centre, please be aware that they are in desperate need of toiletries at the centre. Please find the details below

: toothbrushes, razors, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, and deodorant especially.

We kindly ask that you donate an item by Friday the 4^th of November. Should you prefer, a financial donation would also be warmly accepted.

Our 1st meeting!

A very warm welcome to the new members of the School and Eco council.

Our 1st project – we’re collecting milk bottle tops in support of Sienna, age 7 from Gabalfa Primary School, who is raising money for the End Polio Now charity.

A full and busy timetable including ukulele, drumming, karate, cookery, cartoon animation, reptiles, clocsio, cookery and craft workshops, as well as trips to the beach, Noahs Ark Zoo, Margam Park, Cantref Farm and much more….
