Dear parents,
The traffic situation on Glan y Nant Road has been a concern to the school staff and governors for a long time. Our concern is for the safety of our pupils. These concerns have been discussed with Cardiff Council who have decided to put new traffic measures in place. Glan y Nant Road will be closed to all traffic (apart from staff and residents) between certain hours in the mornings and in the afternoons. New signs and cameras will be installed as part of this decision.
The new traffic measures will be starting soon – Cardiff Council will be distributing letters to all parents.
We kindly ask for your cooperating with this important issue.

Luned Aaron, who is a mum at Ysgol Melin Gruffydd has just had her book “123 Byd Natur” published.

To coincide with this, a competition is being held for the children to draw a picture or create a collage. Use her book for inspiration!
