WELCOME TO YMG PTA

Our aim is to raise money and support the school.  It provides us all with an opportunity to work together towards ensuring all of our children benefit from their time at school.  It also gives us all the chance to meet people and even sometimes  enjoy ourselves !  To date, the PTA has funded amongst other things:

• The childrens’ Kitchen in Derbyn
• The payment of the Yr 6 Tan y Bwlch coaches
• The YMG mini-bus ( on-going )

So far this year it has been agreed that funds made from events organised will go towards:

• A digital library system.  The system chosen will of course be fully portable for when we move location.
• Costumes for the Dawnsio Gwerin ‘Troup’.  (YMG came 3rd in this years National Eisteddfod so we aim to do as well next year and good costumes are essential ) .  ‘Safewear’  is a company that sells YMG logo school uniforms. They donate 50p per item sold to the PTA which will be specifically allocated to school costumes. To Order phone 02920 496585 or visit their web-site www.safewear.co.uk. X’MAS  MARKET (no children!) Your chance to do some X’mas shopping from Local businesses with wine and mince pies.                                £ 1 entrance fee
We warmly welcome any parents or grand-parents that can spare some time to help us with new ideas, setting-up, tidying-up after events , serving drinks, advertising, match funding,  BBQ’ ing , baking cakes.....

Please contact any of the Committee if you are interested in helping. We would like to see parent representatives from each class at our meetings to help to spread the responsibility and effectiveness of the PTA.  We would also be grateful to any of you who may work for a company that can match-fund our fundraising to get in touch.

To date, a decision has still not been reached regarding the school move. The PTA would like to have enough funds to be able to provide new play and educational facilities if we do re-locate.
