Teacher: Miss Gwenno Roberts
I’m originally from Anglesey but have settled here in Cardiff after over 10 years teaching in International schools. I enjoy working with children in the Foundation Phase and enjoy painting and cycling in my spare time.

Over the next few weeks, we will be celebrating and learning about Chinese New Year. If you have any items / clothing / goods / pictures from China, would you please send them to school.
Also, we shall be making various musical instruments in preparation for our ‘Chinese New Year Parade’. We would be grateful to receive any suitable household items (non-returnable) to help us with this task, i.e kitchen roll tubes, empty tubs/boxes, rubber bans etc.
Thank you for your co-operation.
Reception Class Teachers.
A collection will be made at the end of every Christmas Show this year to be donated to the ‘Jac bach Charity’
As part of our theme ‘When I fall asleep’ we will be having a ‘pyjama day’. Please could your child come to school in pyjamas, and bring their favourite soft toy and bedtime story on Monday, November 30th.
Thank you very much,
Reception Class Teachers

The Reception classes will be going to the Sherman Theatre on Tuesday December 15th to watch “Y Dywysoges a’r Bysen Fechan Fach”(The Princess and the Pea).
We will be leaving school at 1pm and will be returning by the end of the day.
The cost of the trip is £10 and can be paid through Parent Pay or through sending the money in along with the permission slip.
Thank you to those who have already volunteered, we now have enough adults.
Thank you very much for all the Autumn items. The children thoroughly enjoyed making hedgehogs and a home for them. Over the next few days we would like the children to be creative using different leaves to create an animal/animals. (See examples on the letter.)
We look forward to seeing their work next week.
